Affiliate Disclosure
GetYourGuide, Viator and GuruWalk supply the tours listed here, and hotel links run through Expedia, booked via Travelpayouts. When you book through a link on this site we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That is the entire business model. This site sells nothing itself, and the price on the live booking page is what you pay either way.
Where The Money Comes From
The money comes from one place: bookings. When you click a tour link and reserve, the platform pays us a small share for the introduction, and you pay exactly what you would have paid otherwise. Operators cannot buy a spot on the site, and no tour appears here because someone paid for the privilege. There is no other revenue stream hiding behind that.
Operators set their own prices and move them with seasons and demand, so every listing sends you to the live booking page rather than quoting a number that could be stale by the time you read it. What the tour includes, how long it runs and the cancellation terms sit on that same page before you commit. Nothing is charged on our end, so nothing is marked up on it either.
What This Site Covers
Fifteen tours sit in four groups: Warner Bros. tours, Universal Studios Hollywood tickets, Paramount and movie location tours, and studio tour packages that pair a lot visit with sightseeing. That is the whole roster. If a tour is not on it, we have not assessed it, do not link to it and earn nothing from it, however loudly it is marketed.
The scope stays deliberately narrow: behind-the-scenes studio tours, backlot visits and studio-linked packages across Los Angeles, from the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank to Paramount on Melrose. Theme park tickets appear because the Universal tram tour is part of the studio story. Nothing outside that field gets listed, and no operator enthusiasm changes it.
What We List And How It's Ordered
Scores on each card come straight from the booking platforms, unrounded and untouched. Strong performers and weak ones both stay visible, because a listing with a middling score tells you something the marketing copy never will. Review counts travel with the scores, so you can judge for yourself how much weight each figure deserves before you click through.
No studio, operator or agency pays for coverage, and none of them can buy a better position. Warner Bros., Universal, Paramount, Starline and the smaller independents appear because their tours are bookable and reviewable, not because anyone arranged it. If an operator waters down an experience, the write-up follows the facts, not the relationship.
Questions About The Money
Still unclear how the money flows? Ask. Email info@hollywoodstudiotours.com with questions about listings, links or corrections, and you will get a direct answer about how the site works. The short version never changes: you pay the same whether you use our link or arrive at the booking page on your own, and the platform pays us for the introduction.
Three booking partners handle reservations here: GetYourGuide, Viator and GuruWalk, with hotel links booked through Expedia via Travelpayouts. Tickets are issued by the platforms, charged by them and refunded by them under their own terms. This site takes no payment, holds no card details and never sees what you buy, so anything about an order goes to the platform that issued it, not to us.
